In 2010, Sengo International Promotions (SIP) was at the heart of some of the most exciting cultural and musical events linking Uganda and the UK.
🎶 Eagles Production – Live Concert Series (Uganda, July 2010)
Held across four electrifying shows on 17th–18th July and 24th–25th July, this series featured one of Uganda’s most celebrated live bands, Eagles Production. Known for their powerful stage presence, they brought together artists including Mesach Semakula, Geofrey Lutaya, Ronald Mayinja, Grace Sekamatte, Selugga Fred, Fred Mayiso, and the iconic Irene Namatovu. These performances captured the essence of Ugandan music at the time, blending tradition with contemporary flair.
🔥 ECO Media News Awards @ SIP’s Battle of the New Skool (UK, April 2010)
On Sunday 11th April, SIP partnered with ECO Media, Pier One Nightspot, 2Shy Entertainment, and Unikon Media to host the ECO Media News Awards during Battle of the New Skool at Club 19. This night showcased both Ugandan and UK-based talent, with awards for Best Artist and Best Song, alongside exclusive performances. Featured artists included Michael Ross, Cindy, Aziz Azion, and many more, representing the next wave of East African music.
Together, these projects highlight SIP’s role in promoting culture, empowering artists, and connecting audiences across continents.
